VIET STORIES: Recollections & Regenerations
I've always loved museums and history. As a second generation Vietnamese American, my past, and culture can be very much of a mystery. My grandparents are an ocean away, and my parents still feel like foreigners to the country they own citizenship. There weren't any heirlooms in my family, and all the albums were lost. Curiously, I try my best to soak up any refugee story I can get my eyes on - trying to shape a world that my parents grew up in.
If you have the opportunity to visit the Richard Nixon Presidential Library, the VIET STORIES: Recollections & Regenerations exhibit will be available until May 28, 2018. You'll leave with compelling stories of those who paved the way for the Vietnamese-American dream.
